Preppy fashion label Steven Alan will expand its fashion empire to include handbags this fall. The brand will start small, with a capsule collection featuring just six handbag styles.
Steven Alan promises to release several traditional purse designs, including hobos, satchels, and shoulder bags, all with a distinctly equestrian vibe. The combination of bridled leather and brass hardware should be just as popular away from the track though!
This may be Steven Alan’s first handbag collection, but it’s not the designer’s first attempt at accessories. Alan recently collaborated with V Australia, an offshoot of Virgin America, on a limited edition travel bag.
While that carry-on bag cost $777, we can expect the new women’s handbags to be much more affordable. You can buy them soon at Steven Alan’s New York City and Californian boutiques and other selected retail stores for between $398 and $565.
