Sea Bags is doing its bit to support Breast Cancer Awareness month with the release of its new Pink Ribbon bags. The bags’ release coincides with the label’s fourth annual Cure Campaign.

We are proud to have raised over $48,000 in funds over the past three years from this campaign for cancer research. It is great to see how quickly our custom bags sell out. We’ve attracted buyers from across the globe to help the cause,” said Sea Bags co-owner and president Beth Shissler. “With both of our families touched by cancer, my business partner, Hannah, and I wanted to do something to make a difference.

As with all Sea Bags accessories, the eco-friendly Pink Ribbon purses are made from recycled sails. They are available in three different sizes: small, medium, large. Half of proceeds from all Pink Ribbon handbags will benefit the Maine Cancer Foundation, which helps to fund cancer research and patient support programs, and educate the state’s residents about the disease.

Sea Bags Pink Ribbon bags will be available from October 1 to December 31 from the Sea Bags website. The small bags cost $100, the medium ones $125, and the large are priced at $150.
