Beyonce is one lucky lady. We’re not quite sure what was sitting under her Christmas tree, but it seems many of her gifts came in those distinctive orange Hermes boxes.
Her rapper husband Jay-Z was reportedly spotted spending around US$350, 000 at the French luxury store on Christmas Eve. It’s tough for mere mortals to get those last minute gifts, but when you can throw around that sort of cash I’ll bet it’s a cinch.
“Jay was in a private room of Hermès doing last-minute shopping,” The Sun newspaper reported. “He had a guard standing watch outside.“
The source confirmed that a prized Birkin bag was amongst the swag, although we’re unsure whether he got one of the standard $9000 purses, or a more luxurious $34, 000 croc skin one. Either way, he’d still have plenty of cash left for silk scarves, jewelry, and other exclusive trinkets.
Whatever Jay-Z took home, I’ll bet Beyonce was a very happy lady on Christmas morning!
