Brazilian accessories brand Carmen Steffens is the latest fashion house to support the relief efforts in Haiti. The label has been donating 50% of its U.S. online sales to the Red Cross Haitian Relief and Development Fund.

The devastation in Haiti is so terrible,” said Mark Willingham, president of Carmen Steffens’ U.S. initiatives. “We knew we had to quickly find a way to contribute to the time-sensitive rescue needs and relief efforts. And, our customers have really responded in a positive fashion. Their incredible support truly demonstrates the size of their hearts.”

It’s so inspiring to see the fashion world banding together to make a difference after such a terrible tragedy. While the people of Haiti are suffering, it’s clear the quake’s effects have been felt the world over. Carmen Steffens’ fundraising efforts end on the 20th, so there’s still a little time to help out, and pick up a cute purse at the same time.
