It’s probably something that a writer shouldn’t admit, but I’m running low on inspiration today. I’m battling the typical Mondayitis and a head cold all at once. It’s not a lot of fun, which is perhaps why I’m drawn to this cheerful Inspire Tote. I’m a little skeptical that it will deliver the inspiration it promises, but at this point I’m willing to try anything!
Even if it doesn’t make good on that promise, this tote would still be a lot of fun. I love the vibrant orange colored canvas and the playful light bulb drawing that decorates it. The tan vegetable tanned leather trim and handles are a lovely way to dress up the fairly simple design.
The strap tie closure is certainly creative, but it’s not very practical. We’ll also need to exercise some creativity to keep the interior organized, because the single zippered pocket just isn’t going to cut it.
The price is my final bugbear. A canvas tote has to be extraordinary for me to even contemplate spending more than $100 on it. At $250, this one is simply too expensive.
