Olivia + Joy will celebrate its first anniversary with a brand new website, and its first advertising campaign.
"As the brand nears its first anniversary, it was a natural next step for Olivia + Joy to debut its first advertising campaign," said Abe Dweck, the president of Olivia + Joy's parent company Accessory Exchange. "The brand has been so well received by retailers, consumers and editors alike, that we are thrilled to present our newest collection and pay homage to the city that we call home."
The label pays homage to the Big Apple in the ads, which capture a day in the life of some gorgeous New Yorkers. The girls use Olivia + Joy's new season satchels, totes, and hobos as they travel to various locations around the city.
This is an advertising campaign with more substance than the average, as storylines and vignettes will be posted on Olivia + Joy's website ahead of New York Fashion Week.
The move to advertising really represents a coming of age for Olivia + Joy. This ad isn't the most exciting I've ever seen, but there's certainly potential there. What do you think of the label's first foray into the advertising world?
