Models, Designers, and Celebrities Mingle at the Met Ball | Marc Jacobs and Kate Moss Co-Host

Fashionistas were out in droves the other night as designers, models, and more than a few celebrities gathered for the infamously exclusive Costume Institute Gala in New York City.

The event celebrated the opening of an exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The theme for the evening was "The Model as Muse", an appropriate choice since the new exhibit is entitled Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion.

Bag Bunch favorite and Louis Vuitton Creative Director Marc Jacobs co-hosted the event with supermodel extraordinaire Kate Moss, who is undoubtedly many a fashion designer's muse. Luxury labels were everywhere to be seen that night, with more than a handful of people in Jacobs' designs, including Moss and Victoria Beckham.

Other designers' creations spotted on the red carpet include Chanel, Dior, Bally, and Burberry, just to name a few. Click here to see some of the extravagant outfits of the evening.
