Accessories label Ze Mis has taken its inspiration from the Serengeti for its new spring/summer collection. The safari-styled handbags are made from luxury fabrics embellished with African beads.
“Serengeti is clearly a must-see destination with its ‘chaotic harmony’ of predators and prey constantly moving in herds,” explained ZeMis’ designer and founder Lindy Castillo. “We are hoping to capture just a glimpse of its brilliant scenery in our designer handbags.”
The centerpiece of the range is the AKT Growl series, a wild collection of clutch bags featuring animal printed fabrics, beaded flap closures, and tassel adorned handles.
The Serengeti line is just one of the collections in ZeMis’ new Wonders of the World range. Others in the collection include the Taj Mahal, the Great Barrier Reef, and the great Pyramid of Giza. There are seven in all, and each one is inspired by the beauty of the world around us. The label’s collection looks to bring these sanctuaries into the spotlight, encouraging travelers to visit and protect the special sites.
