Mama’s Got a Brand New Bag is the brainchild of single moms Maggie Atwood and Rhonda Herring. The two friends were actively involved in volunteer work around their local area of Tupelo, Mississippi, but they wanted to do more.
And so Mama’s Got a Brand New Bag was born, a charity which auctions off the gently used handbags of ordinary fashion lovers like you and I. 100% of the profits raised are donated to S.A.F.E. Inc. a domestic violence shelter in Northern Mississippi.
