Bright, multi-colored, and coated in beads. I hate to say it, but the Babylon purse by Tango could serve well as an example to all of us for what not to do with beads.
OK, so it may be a matter of personal taste. Some people may love the chaotic splash of colored semi-precious beads, or the bulbous round shape. After all, they may want to wear this tribal clutch with something super-stylish, like this season’s statement necklaces.
However, for me I am afraid this beaded handbag does everything I dislike. The shape, reminiscent of vintage coin purses, is impractical, both to hold and for carrying your belongings. I also, personally, feel a little silly clutching round handles. The beads, too, aren’t quite right; I dislike the dominance of black, and worry that the design is more haphazard than high end.
When I see that the price for this complex Tango bag is $485, it nearly makes me pass out. Are you in agreement, or do you have the fashion panache to make it work?
