Move over Roxy. Big sister surf brand Quiksilver is launching its own grown up range of handbags this season.
The handbag line looks to appeal to young adults who’ve outgrown Roxy’s cute junior purses. With Quiksilver enlisting the skills of acclaimed designer Lesa Wallace, it sounds like they might do just that. The casual bags strike a balance between feminine features and edgy accents with their delicate lines and quality leather trims.
“I tried to [transfer] that into each style, pairing chunky, matte hardware that embodied the masculine with, on the feminine side, making it girly and stylish with an element of function for the girl on the go,” said Lesa Wallace.
Quiksilver handbags are specially designed to coordinate with the surf brand’s new contemporary clothing line, although their classic colors and styles are perfect for pairing with any outfit. They’re also priced to please all fashion lovers, with bags costing between $75 and $150.
