The Ballistic JetCart sounds like a futuristic mode of transport, but it’s actually a convenient travel bag designed to make life easier for frequent flyers. This lightweight rolling tote from Walkin’Bag is made for leaning on, and in the case of one model, even sitting on.
Designer and Walkin’Bag CEO Etsuo Miyoshi created the innovative bag to make his own travels more comfortable.
“To save my aching back and legs, I invented a bag I could lean on,” he explained. “People all over the world are discovering what it means to travel with confidence and ease. I couldn’t be happier knowing Walkin’Bag makes a difference.“
Its adjustable lean-on handle was made to support up to 250 pounds, while the built-in seat available on the Sitting Pretty model supports up to 300 pounds. It might feel light to carry, but the Ballistic JetCart is no lightweight; it’s made to carry up to 33 pounds of luggage with ease.
It might seem like the height of laziness to use a suitcase with a seat, but I imagine these travel bags would be a great idea for elderly or disabled jetsetters. I think they’d also come in handy on long layovers, or when flights are delayed!
The standard Ballistic JetCart retails for $155, while the Sitting Pretty model retails for $170. All Walkin’Bag travel bags come with a limited lifetime warranty and are available online with free shipping.
