Prostate cancer survivor and Shusokumb creator Robert Ginyard has pledged to donate a portion of his brand’s sales to Zero – The Project to End Prostate Cancer. The initiative looks to eradicate prostate cancer, which is currently the second-deadliest cancer for men.
“Because of my wife’s active involvement in my health, and the fact that most women are generally more proactive when it comes to health issues, it was a no-brainer to donate a portion of the sales of Shusokumb® bags to Zero – The Project to End Prostate Cancer,” explained Ginyard.
“It is my hope that by making a contribution to Zero, we increase awareness and support an organization that has zero tolerance for prostate cancer, and is committed to improving the lives of men and their families.”
The multiple compartments of Shusokumb totes have seen them become popular with women who like to wear comfy sneakers or flats for their commute before changing into heels for the office. The totes are available at major retailers including Nordstrom, Strawbridge’s, Woodward & Lothrop, and the Shusokumb website.
