Stella McCartney and PETA are joining together for an upcoming event at Paris Fashion Week. McCartney, an avid supporter of the anti-fur/anti-leather movement, is not the only celebrity to lend a hand for PETA’s newest commercial seen here.
Though it’s at McCartney’s post-runway news conference that the spot will be launched, Ricky Gervais and singer Pink are the real stars of the commercial. You’ll only recognize their voices, though, as their characters are a rabbit and alligator, respectively.
The short, tongue-in-cheek ad shows the animals without their skin and fur demanding their stolen articles from a couple carrying a leather bag and fur coat. It’s a little jolting to watch at first, but PETA definitely gets their point across with this one.
