Before the days of sharing travel photos on Facebook or over e-mail, families used to gather around for slide nights. Watching projections of still images might sound pretty primitive these days, but once upon time they were the best the way to share stories of your travels.
RedCamper remembers the good old days with its collection of handbags made from old slides. Creator Maura Gramzinski came upon the idea when she inherited thousands of slides from her Grampa. She made her own bag as a celebration of her grandparents’ travel adventures, and a unique line was born.
The RedCamper range includes day totes and laptop bags. Each is made not just from slides, but other vintage travel items. Look closely and you’ll see car upholstery and airplane travel clips too. These bags are true tributes to the wandering spirit inside us all.
RedCamper bags are available in boutiques, museum gift shops, and other stores around the world, including Eco-Handbags and RedCamper’s own online store.
