Macy’s is the latest department store to jump on the designer collaborations bandwagon. Just like Target before them, the American retail giant will release an affordable range of luxury label goodies. The first is a pairing with Rachel Roy, dubbed Rachel Rachel Roy.
“This line is the younger sister to the Rachel Roy collection,” the designer explained. “It has the same designer sensibility but with a younger feeling.“
The line will include handbags, shoes, ready-to-wear fashions, and other assorted accessories. I’ve already got my heart set on these pyramid-studded shoulder bags, but I’ll have to wait until they hit stores in August to get my hands on one.
To coincide with the launch, Macy’s will display the line in unique pop-sections in its stores. It’s a smart marketing move guaranteed to make sure we don’t miss the new Rachel Roy designer delicacies!
