Australian designer Peter Morrissey is add handbags to his affordable fashion line for retail chain Big W. He will introduce three handbags to the range later this month.
“This collection is designed to be the perfect accompaniment for any outfit,” Peter Morrissey said. “These practical, versatile bags are stylish and well made while still managing to be affordable! I have really enjoyed working with accessories again and am looking forward to offering BIG W customers more exciting surprises throughout 2010.“
The range features the Yuki, a slouchy black satchel bag with silver stud accents, the modern Emma with multiple zippered pockets, and an oversized Yoga bag for the health conscious fashionista.
Aussie fashion fans can snap up the Peter Morrissey handbags in Big W stores from April 20. The launch will coincide with Morrissey’s winter fashion collection which includes trench coats, pencil skirts, knit sweaters, and wrap tops in sizes eight to 16. The bags will range from $35 to $40, while the fashion items will all retail for less than $100.
