Mulberry’s Alexa Chung inspired Alexa bag just got a whole lot more luxurious with the launch of a limited edition gold variety.
Just 40 of these distressed metallic gold bags were made exclusively for British retailer Selfridges. Gold bags so often look gaudy, but the distressed finish makes the metallic look much more subtle than its peers. Shiny gold hardware is the perfect foil to this surprisingly subdued body.
The bags are priced at £795, which doesn’t seem a bad price for such a good looking, limited edition handbag. They will be available at Selfridges’ Oxford Street, Manchester Trafford and Exchange and Birmingham boutiques and the new Selfridges.com website. No release date has been announced, so it looks like we’ll have to keep our eyes on the website to snap up one of these ultra exclusive beauties
