Handbag genius Marc Jacobs and his advertising executive boyfriend Lorenzo Martone are engaged! The couple, who have been together for about a year, will go public with the news when they arrive in Brazil today wearing rings!
The couple is visiting Lorenzo’s native Sao Paolo for a fete to celebrate the Marc Jacobs store which opened there in January. While there, Marc will also meet Lorenzo’s mother for the first time. How exciting!
After his Louis Vuitton show at Paris Fashion week, Marc freely told the press he was in love but seemed reluctant to comment on his wedding plans.
“It’s really early to share, but our relationship is getting stronger and more mature. And with that, some things might happen,” he said.
They have not set a wedding date, but they are considering tying the knot in St. Barths.
“We experienced a really great vacation in St. Barth’s recently,” Lorenzo shared recently. “It was during the winter in December. It was super warm, people were relaxed, tanned, and we were having an amazing time with our friends. So why not? Maybe a New Year’s Eve wedding in St. Barth’s would be really fun.“
