You’ve carried the handbag, and soon you can stay in the hotel! European fashion house Moschino plans to open Maison Moschino in Italy’s fashion capital, Milan, next year. The purse designer revealed its plans at the recent TTG Incontri, an Italian tourism trade show.
Moschino will reinvent the site of the historical railway station on Viale Monte Grappa, 12, for its luxury accommodation.
Moschino’s Rossella Jardini and his creative team will develop the hotel’s signature look. They will maintain the station’s neoclassical facade, but the interior will reflect Moschino’s flair for contemporary style.
Maison Moschino’s 54 rooms and 15 suites will be spread across four floors. Every room will have its own unique look, however they will be united by a surreal fairytale theme.
“To sleep is to dream, and dreams are fairy tales that we are allowed to experience first hand,” Moschino explained.
The hotel will also feature a bar and restaurant, a gym, and a garden and spa for winding down after a hard work-out.
