Well, I’ve seen fringed bags before, but none of them looked quite like this!
There is more fringing here than there is bag, which is quite remarkable. My first instinct is to say that it looks a little like a spoof prop from a comedy show, or like the sort of handbag Escher himself would have carried. The proportions are all wrong, giving it a hint of the confusing and surreal, and I think for this reason many people will absolutely hate Linea Pelle for ever deigning to create it.
However, I know that there are people out there for whom such an “out there” design is just a chance to go really high fashion. With the right pair of shoes the Alex clutch could make a massive statement, and if you have the style status to pull it off then I am sure you will be respected for it. You may get tangled up in things wherever you go, but at least you could never be accused of being boring!
Although by design this exaggerated suede purse isn’t practical, it is certainly unique!
