After unceremoniously receiving the boot from Ungaro, actress Lindsay Lohan is moving on to another fashion endeavor. The Mean Girls star now plans to design handbags for Ed Hardy.
“Lindsay and the design team at Ed Hardy have mutual friends, and they knew she was interested in looking for a handbag license and partner,” an anonymous source revealed. “They thought she’d be a good fit and so did she.”
Another source suggested Lindsay is currently developing three collections for the brand, and there could be more where that came from.
“Lindsay is very directly involved with the project, and she’s always pulling things online and from magazines for ideas,” the source added.
Lindsay’s fashion forays have never matched her work on the screen, so I’ll be surprised if these bags impress me. Then again, I’ve never really warmed to Ed Hardy’s flamboyant designs, so perhaps Li-Lo’s stamp will be an improvement!
