Ageless supermodel Iman has joined forces with the Home Shopping Network for the release of the Platinum Collection. Despite its luxurious name, the range features mid-priced clothes, handbags, and other accessories.
Despite their relatively affordable price tags, every purse from the HSN collection is made from real leather or suede. The buttery skins are rendered in a range of neutral but interesting colors including cognac, red, and forest green. The bags are then accented with pony hair panels, golden studs and cute cut-outs.
Iman told gatherers at her launch party that “Accessories make the girl – and the boy, for that matter.” If that’s true, her collection should help to complete the wardrobes of plenty of folks across America.
The range’s handbags are complemented by knit sheath dresses, croc-embossed and faux shearling draped jackets, and other apparel items. And best of all, with sizes ranging from extra small to triple extra large, they really are suitable for women of all shapes and sizes.
The first installment of the Iman Platinum Collection is currently available through the Home Shopping Network website. And there’s more where this came from; look out for a winter-ready second coming, which will include a faux mink coat, on October 26.
