Hayden-Harnett goes back to basics with this eco-friendly Green is Good tote.
This simple bag is a world away from the fashion-forward leather accessories we’re used to seeing from the brand. In fact, it’d be boring if not for that clever green slogan, which puts a modern twist on Wall Street’s 80s ethos.
Save for a pair of open pockets inside, what you see is what you get here. This is a traditional tote, with no real bells or whistles. It earns its green stripes with its organic cotton body, but there’s really little to differentiate it from the swag of other eco-bags flooding the market.
But it’s difficult to be too tough on a bag which gives back. Hayden-Harnett generously donates 100% of the proceeds from this tote to Farm Aid, a charity which promotes local, organic, and sustainable farming practices.
It might not be as chic as many Hayden-Harnett bags, but this tote is much more appropriate for a trip to the farmers markets. And for a mere $27, I’m satisfied with that!
