Everything old is new again for Givenchy this fall. The French fashion brand has revamped its beloved Nightingale satchel and Pandora messenger for the new season.
Four new colors have been introduced for the Nightingale; you can now get it in classic navy blue and black, along with the more unexpected shades of dark purple and lilac. The Pandora’s updates come from two new materials; you’ll find it in a smooth shiny leather and a lush textured skin. Both are available in a range of conservative colors to suit girls who love classic looks.
I’m a bit torn on the new, but not so new, Givenchy bags. On one hand I would have liked to see the label serve up something fresh and fabulous. But then again, why stray too far from perfection? Both the Pandora and Nightingale have already been big sellers for Givenchy, and these new models are sure to follow suit.
These new releasese may not have been the most adventurous business decisions from the Givenchy, but they’re probably smart ones.
