The writer in me has fallen for the notebook style charms of this white leather clutch from Giuseppe Zanotti.
This distinctively styled purse resembles a spiral bound notepad with its white leather body and exaggerated metal coil. A tiny golden signature points to the clutch’s designer heritage, but never detracts from the smart style.
While it’s somewhat of a novelty, Giuseppe Zannoti has included a few practical details. White leather takes no time before it shows its age, so the designer has included metal feet to protect the pale skin. The interior is relatively sizable, although not so large as to be ungainly, which is a good thing as there is no shoulder strap.
For me that’s the biggest misstep. We mentioned that white leather is prone to showing marks, and hand-held clutching will only speed up this process. If you can afford the whopping $775 price tag you might like to invest in a pair of carrying gloves as well!
