Carrying an EpiPen just got a whole lot more fashionable thanks to Epi-Essentials. The company has just released a range of chic handbags and accessory cases for allergy sufferers.
The innovative range is the first of its kind combining fashion forward looks and functional features for carrying epinephrine auto-injectors and other allergy medications. It was developed by Epi-Essentials founder Dana Lustbader, a mother of a teen with multiple food allergies. She said girls her daughter’s age and older tend to leave their EpiPens at home as they are inconvenient and uncool to carry. However carrying an EpiPen at all times is the best way to combat an unexpected allergy emergency. And stashing it in a chic Epi-Essentials purse seems like the most stylish way to do it!
The Epi-Essentials range features a Grab and Go Handbag and an Accessory Case. Both options have dual zip compartments for medical supplies and life’s other essentials. They’re made of leather in a range of colors from conservative midnight black, saddle brown, and mystic navy to the more unusual candy apple red and pumpkin spice. Complementary patterned cotton lining complements the chic leather exteriors.
The Accessory Case costs $68 while the Grab and Go Handbag is a bit more expensive at $118. Both are available from the Epi-Essentials website.
