Diesel’s New Generation line is supposed to be slightly cutting edge and futuristic in style, but frankly I just see function and convenience when I look at the collection of nylon bags and totes.
I suppose the durability of the material combined with interesting design features is the reason that the brand classifies it as new and exciting. Call me overly critical, but this Becky shoulder bag from the line might be durable and interesting, but is definitely not exciting.
Whether or not the Becky thrills my sense of style, it’s still a decently crafted handbag with aspects that make it worth checking out. That’s especially true if your personal taste is more about “fashion meets function” rather than the appeal of the looks alone. The nylon body and canvas trim is easy to wear and keep clean, while the hint of leather around the zipper closure on top makes the Becky bag a bit more grown-up.
