The brand’s creators noticed that almost 20, 000 banners were hung from street lights in their native Barcelona each year, advertising everything from cultural fairs to film festivals. Most of these were not reusable, and so seemed destined for landfill. Demano swooped in though and saved the banners from this fate.
Since its inception Demano has begun to diversify. It now creates bags from the polyester canvasses used in building renovations and even kitesurfing sails.
