Hollywood starlets may soon be trading in their Louis Vuitton and Fendi purses for new high-tech accessories. Designer Adam Harvey has created a handbag which prevents the paparazzi from capturing those incriminating candid snaps.
It works by creating a glare in a photographer’s lens, which obscures the stars in their most shameful moments. An extra-bright LED is triggered by a light detector, so when a camera flash goes off, so does the anti-paparazzi bag.
“I created an anti-paparazzi device that communicates the desire to not be photographed,” explained Mr. Harvey.
If only Britney Spears had carried one when she forgot her underwear. Perhaps Samantha Ronson and Lindsey Lohan wouldn’t have had such a tumultuous relationship if they could have kept their kisses on the down low.
