The British sisters behind Angel Jackson are bringing their distinctive handbags and matching belts to the United States. It’s a move that’s sure to please fashionistas on the lookout for something different and the brand’s legions of celebrity admirers.
Paris Hilton is such a fan she recently ordered one of everything. Literally. Oh to be an heiress! Other stars enamored with the label’s eye-catching designs include the ever-outrageous Lady Gaga, MTV up-and-comer Alexa Chung (who carries their Jai satchel), and fashion movers and shakers Kate Moss and Sienna Miller.
“We’ve has such a great reaction from press, celebs and buyers over in the States, we’re excited to be branching out!” enthused one half of the dynamic duo, Katie Smith. “The Americans seem to love the Brit cool thing we have and our gold jaguars.”
Angel Jackson accessories have already been picked up by Bendel’s, and you’ll soon find them at Intermix. But that’s just the start of the sisters’ global assault. They’re about to open a graffiti and fashion show room in Millie Smith’s adopted home of Bali, where the brand has a fair-trade workshop.
