Tommy Hilfiger Americans in Paris Totes

Paris Fashion Week is in full swing, and American designer Tommy Hilfiger is celebrating. He’s teamed up with ten former Council of Fashion Designers of America/Vogue Fashion Fund winners for a range of tote bags.

Acclaimed designers like Billy Reid, Simon Spurr, Sophie Theallet, Eddie Borgo, and Prabal Gurung have all lent prints to the limited edition line, which is appropriately called Americans in Paris. I particularly love Ohne Titel’s red and blue Rorschach Test and Pamela Love’s very regal looking France meets the United States crest. Which one’s floating your boat?

I’ve always said if that you’re paying any more than $100 for a simple tote bag, then you’re probably paying too much. So I was thrilled to see all the bags in this range are priced at $98. That’s really reasonable considering their limited edition status, but it also means they’re likely to sell out quick.

If you’ve got your eye on one I suggest heading to one of Tommy Hilfiger’s flagship stores in New York, London, Milan, and of course, Paris pronto. If you’re wavering it’s also worth noting that 100% of the net profits from each sale will go back to the Council of Fashion Designers of America/Vogue Fashion Fund.
