The Hills’ Lauren Conrad Carries Kara Ross Clutch to MTV Video Music Awards

The stars came out to play at this evening's 2008 MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles. Like all award ceremonies, some celebs were fashion fabulous, while others made fashion faux pas!

In my opinion the star who shone brightest was Lauren Conrad of The Hills. Just look at this sassy ensemble! Her Pogah Couture dress is super sexy and girly without being garish. The swirls on the skirt are highlighted by those adorable silver Sergio Rossi shoes. The Levian jewelry adds a little sparkle without overwhelming the ensemble.

But the finishing touch is without a doubt that divine Kara Ross clutch. We told you that metallic clutches would be big this season, and this is the perfect way to carry one.

New York designer Kara Ross is one of the hottest new designers, and we're likely to see plenty more celebs carrying her pretty purses on the red carpet. It's little surprise that the ultra-stylish Lauren Conrad is one of the first stars to embrace this New York designer!
