Silvia Tcherassi is the latest designer to launch a capsule collection with Payless ShoeSource. Tcherassi is an apparel and bridal gown specialist, but brides to be are out of luck. Her Payless line will instead feature handbags and shoes.

This is the first time that Tcherassi has designed shoes, and her handbags have always been few and far between, so I'm excited to see what she comes up with. We have just a few clues about what's in store. The upcoming range will feature on-trend shoe silhouettes including wedges, strappy heels, and thong sandals. Fashion-forward accents including mesh uppers, satin ribbons, and colorblocking will complete the footwear styles. Details are a little light on for the purses, but we can expect them to complement the shoes and be every bit as modern.

Her Payless deal will see Silvia Tcherassi release two diffusion collections each year, one in spring and one in fall, for the next two years.

As we'd expect from Payless, Silvia Tcherassi's new collection will be affordably priced between $40 and $70. Those prices are ideal for women wanting to indulge in the latest trends without spending a lot of money. Look for the goodies in Payless stores this May.
