Serpui Marie Essential Minaudiere We all need a few wardrobe essentials, and Serpui Marie hopes its Essential Minaudiere will be one of them.

I'd love to add it to my collection. Its snakeskin finish is so delicate, a welcome alternative to the bold mottled skins we so typically see. This is much richer, especially in this bold ruby red. If you want even more glitz, consider the Essential in silver or antique gold.

That snakeskin is the star attraction here, but it's not the only thing that sells that clutch. I love the look of the large tab clasp, the structured minaudiere's soft curves, and that practical shoulder strap.

Of course though, no minaudiere is completely practical. Its dainty stature isn't made to hold much more than keys and cards, but who wants to feel weighed down on an evening out anyway? I'm willing to leave a few things behind to look this glam.

If I had a spare $335 lying about I'd rush out and buy this purse tomorrow. Of course that price is incredibly reasonable for a genuine exotic accessory; it's just a bit rich for my blood!
