Roberto Cavalli Debates Whether or Not to Sell His Company | Continues to Work on His Upcoming Website

Even fashion designer Roberto Cavalli is uncertain about the future given the currently unstable economy. He might not be on the cusp of losing a job or foreclosing on a home, but he does run the risk of losing money by selling a significant amount of his stake in the Cavalli empire right now.

Though serious about moving forward with the plan, he intends to discuss things with his family before making a decision. In the meantime, he'll continue production for the company, find a much-needed CEO, and finish developing a new Cavalli website that will hit the web soon.

Roberto Cavalli may be uncertain about whether he should sell his stock or not, but he's definitely not in a quandary about the future of his new website. Perhaps the project keeps his mind off of his economic woes, but he definitely seems excited by the venture.

“I would like the world to be sweeter and there to be more love, and I’d like to transmit these values through my own Web site with blogs, live online appearances, pushing young designers,” he told WWD.
