If your doodles are a cut above the average, why not submit them to Nine West's latest competition? The handbag designer, along with Talenthouse, is searching for aspiring designers to create patterns for its upcoming spring collection.

Both unknown and experienced designers are invited to submit original artwork inspired by Nine West's favorite trends: New Military, Living Color, and Under the Sea. Participants can submit up to three designs, or one per theme.

Three lucky artists will then see their patterns on Nine West's handbags, rain boots, flip flops, and T-shirts. They'll also receive a share of $7500 cold hard cash.

"This program gives Nine West the platform to explore new talent, ideas, and techniques for its brand. We believe that this partnership with Talenthouse offers Nine West a unique opportunity and is consistent with its strategic approach to infuse new concepts inspired by design and art into its fashion line," said Debbie Woloshin, SVP of Marketing at Nine West.

You've got until October 4 to get your entry in. The selected artists will be announced on November 30. Head to Talenthouse's website for more information about competition entry.
