Mulberry Announces Affordable Handbag Collection for Target

British fashion house Mulberry is the latest high-end designer to announce a diffusion handbag line for Target.

Details are scant at this point, although with Emma Hill, the designer behind the brand's popular Alexa bag, involved in the project our hopes are high.

"At this stage we aren't able to offer more details on the collection although we can confirm the collaboration is definitely going ahead," a Mulberry spokesperson told Vogue.

Mulberry is no stranger to diffusion products. You might remember its limited edition Bayswater released for Gap's RED charity range a few years ago. But by choosing their projects carefully, Mulberry has ensured it doesn't cheapen its designer cred.

The Mulberry for Target purses will be rolled out in American stores and online from October 10, and will be sold until December 24 or until stocks last. It sounds like these bags would make perfect Christmas presents for our gal pals!
