Kate Spade serves up a purse to brighten up the cold winter days with this Confectionary Anastasia Frame Clutch.
You’ll either love or loathe the large epoxy stones in all colors of the rainbow which decorate this framed purse. I’m finding their cheery hues difficult to resist, but the girls who prefer a monochromatic color scheme may find it harder to get on board. That’s a shame because this purse would look perfect paired with a little black dress.
I concede that the stones don’t look very high class. In fact I’d even go so far as to suggest the fruity colors make the gemstones seem cheap. While not everything has to look high class, it probably should for $375. That goes double when it’s paired with high quality 14-karat gold-plated hardware.
In spite of it all though, I really like this purse. It doesn’t take itself too seriously and it still manages to get the job done. The serpentine chain is a handy addition, and the woven dot lining just darling. I think I’ve found my next Christmas party purse!
