Jo Wood Upset about Ronnie Wood’s Plans to Launch Fashion Line | Estranged Spouse Claims First Rights to Idea

It turns out that not everyone is excited about Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood teaming up with Liberty of London for a fashion collaboration expected to include clothing and handbags.

The musician’s recently estranged wife Jo Wood is kicking up a fuss about the news. The former model claims that she has long wanted to start her own line inspired on Ronnie’s concert attire, to which she claims design rights.

A source told Britain’s Daily Express newspaper: “Jo was the one who designed Ronnie’s stage outfits. She was the creative brain behind that. I’m not sure Ronnie will be that au fait with the intricacies of fabrics and seams. It is a bit of a snub to Jo, especially as she has been wanting to launch her own range for some time – and Ronnie knows it.”

It all sounds a bit petty to me, really. I don’t know whether or not Ronnie intended to beat Jo to the punch for spite, especially considering the fact that Liberty of London supposedly came up with the idea of collaborating after being inspired by the guitarist’s works of art.

Jo’s annoyance doesn’t really change much, though. Ronnie Wood’s line should be coming out at Liberty of London this fall regardless of the opinions of his almost-ex.
