Jimmy Choo Tube Mirror Clutch | Discolicious Pewter Hardcased Clutch

There something about 70’s style that keeps up coming back for more. For the past few years, it’s been all about the boho. Even the busy-printed maxi dress has made a reappearance. But, some of us remember a 70’s that wasn’t about suede, or fringe, or neutral tones. Some of us remember disco. And for those of you who don’t, Jimmy Choo is here to school you about that fabulous era with the new Tube Mirror Clutch, which perfectly encapsulates those shiny, trendy times.

Honestly, I was barely alive when disco was a thing but it caught on with my parents, so all those polyester pantsuits and bright wrap dresses made a serious impression on me. But this clutch is no cheaply manufactured throwback. This is disco fashion as it should have been all the time: sleek, ultra-shiny, and cleanly designed.

I can’t get over the ultra glossy sheen of the pewter on this clutch. If you aren’t super picky about your make up, you might actually be able to use it as a mirror. The aerodynamic design is retro and futuristic all at the same time, and I love the teensy weensy logo clasp closure, because it doesn’t interrupt the smooth flow of metal at all.

At 9″ x 4″ x 2″, this clutch will actually fit in the palm of your hand, but you won’t be able to stuff it too full, as the metal has no room for give. In my mind, that is an asset, as all you really need is some ultra shiny lipgloss and you’ll be on your way. Plus, without a lot of bulk to weigh you down, you won’t even have to put down your purse to dance if you happen to get a case of Saturday night fever.
