Achieve a glammed up look for less with this Rose Clutch from Jessica McClintock.

Almost everything about this purse screams luxury. There's the shimmering satin body, the sweeping pleats, and the perfectly formed rosette. And that's just the exterior. The satiny lining is similarly decadent. You can understand why I was shocked to see the $30 price tag!

Of course though, a few design shortcuts have been taken. There's a lot more space inside than you'd expect in this price bracket, but we don't have the organizational features to support it. It might be tricky to keep the clutter at bay, but at least the magnetic snap will keep your girly goods safe.

The braided fabric strap also looks a little cheaper than a chain might have, but I'm not convinced it's a bad thing. It's a lot softer on the shoulders than the metal alternative, and in a dark party or the theater no one's going to notice the quality.

Rose purists may prefer the red purse, but I love the more demure look of this purple purse. It's no shy violet, but still undeniably elegant.
