J. Crew And Angela Adams Team Up for Nautical Recycled Sails Handbags

J. Crew has joined forces with designer Angela Adams for a nautical handbag collection. There are just three bags in the summery range which is about as sea-inspired as you can get. Each one is crafted from recycled sails sourced by the Sea Bags.

Angela Adams has taken the water-resistant fabric and given it a new lease of life with bright, neon hues reminiscent of the buoys that dot the coastline of Adams' native Maine. The durable material is accented by eco-friendly hemp handles. If you're looking for a summery bag which will stand up to salty sea air and survive a few seasons, one of these bags might be for you.

That hardy design helps to justify the high-end price of $198. I hesitate to spend this amount on a non-leather tote, but their staying power makes these totes worth the splurge.
