Bulgari has gone back to the vault to celebrate its 125th anniversary. The Italian luxury brand has revived classic collections – the Doppio Tondo, Leoni, Collezione 1910, and Twist – but given them modern makeovers.

The Doppio Tondo line retains the distinctive double overlapped round metallic rings engraved with the double "Bulgari" logo. These double rings take inspiration from the infinite loop, reminding us of the classic styling the brand represents. The wine red and forest green shades are new though, the jewel tones ideal for the cooler weather ahead.

We see the double logo again in the Twist, although this time it's printed on a duo of medallions. This season the line has a more relaxed feel thanks to the drawstring closure.

The Leoni bags are also a little more casual this time around, with their rounded corners. The original handles and clasps have also been moved to the center of the purse for a bold new look.

The Collezione 1910 hearkens back to the year the first Bulgari store opened in Rome. The collection features the brand's original Art Nouveau style advertisement printed on leather, oiled linen, or cotton canvas. Calfskin trimmings and handles add a little luxury to the less decadent fabrics, while the leather receives a special treatment for everyday use.

The retro Bulgari bags aren't cheap, with the leather purses clocking in at a few thousand a piece, but the classic styles might be worth a splurge.

It's not that the Carol is unattractive. The slightly trapezoidal shape is classic, and the combination of natural linen and tan croco trim earthy and autumnal. But it's just not all that exciting. The Carol's functional design is its real drawcard. The lined interior is spacious, and decked out with slip pockets and a large zippered pouch. The leather pull makes it easy to access your precious cargo, while the zipper closure keeps them safe. The strap is long and flat, to help it sit comfortably on your shoulder. The linen platform base is protected from wear and tear with four metal feet.

This Giani Bernini purse has all the features and quality of any high-end designer bag; it's just a little lacking in the style department. However, don't let that dissuade you if you're on a budget. Priced at $84, it represents much better value than many cheap synthetic purses.

Vivienne Westwood has given her iconic bowler bag an eco-friendly makeover for a new climate change awareness campaign. It's a cause close to the heart of the designer, who has participated in G20 protests and interviewed scientists and environmentalists about the issue.

The Yasmine tote is part of a new accessories line for AmazonLife, an organization which looks to protect the Amazonia basin. It's crafted with organic canvas and finished with Treetap rubber. +5° is printed on the front in water-based ink. This figure is a sobering reminder of the amount the earth's temperature has increased due to pollution and deforestation.

The collection, which also includes pieces from Evisu, Braccalini, Gherardini, and even Looney Tunes, promotes the message that "fashion can be eco-friendly." All bags feature recycled or natural fabrics including juta, linen, coconuts, straw, and feathers.

If I had to describe this Etienne Aigner handbag in only one word, I would call it classy. Yes, it can be called classic, too, even somewhat timeless. However, it's just so wear-to-Sunday-brunch chic that I can't help but think "classy".

It might be a tad too understated for some, but the subtle white and beige color palette is simple enough to go with tons of outfits. At least you won't have to change handbags with every outfit this season if you incorporate this one into your wardrobe...unless you want to, of course.

The hardware on the Vienna is sleek and somewhat contemporary, including the interesting vertical feature on the front leather panel. Long double handles make for easy carrying on busy days. Happy Earth Day! That's right, I'll take any excuse to shop for a new bag, and Earth Day is today's.

Reusable totes are one of the easiest, trendiest and most fashionable ways to help the planet. This Envirosax Organic Bamboo Bag is even eco-friendly in more ways than one.

It's reusable. Duh. It's also made from bamboo and linen. Bamboo is 100% sustainable, biodegradable and grown without "assistance" like fertilizers or pesticides, while linen is a great choice for vegans. It is more sustainable and lower-impact than leather as well.

The bag comes with its own little pouch, great for storing in your glove compartment or tote, so you're never caught needing to sheepishly accept a plastic bag at the grocery store. It's supposed to roll up to the size of a piece of sushi! Which is impressive. But, my experience is that you can never get reusable totes rolled up as small as they come from the manufacturer. You'll surely be able to assign it a small space in your handbag, though.

The bag can safely hold up to 22 lbs so you can certainly throw that gallon of milk in. It is questionable how often you could fit 22 lbs of stuff into an 18 x 16 inch bag, however. I do think the biggest drawback to these is the size. On a typical trip to the mall you might fill it up in the first store.

But to keep on hand for everyday use, this seems like a great choice.

Tory Burch handbags tend to have a somewhat casual but always chic look with some sort of stylistic twist. The Brewster Clutch, though fitting perfectly in that category, didn't stand out to me as a typical Tory Burch bag. Perhaps, the lack of the signature t-shaped logo caught me off guard. Either way, though, the Brewster is still a great option for a versatile clutch for the warm months.

The thing that makes the Brewster Clutch appropriate for spring and summer fashion is the material from which it's made. The coated cotton twill is ideal for pairing with less formal outfits, but the clutch style and the details on it will allow you to dress up a little around it as well.

Of the interesting features on the Brewster, the most striking is the assortment of leather strips on the front with gold-studded details. It reminds me of the wide collared necklaces from Egyptian jewelry. For a clutch so simple, there's a slightly exotic look to it because of that feature.

The front flap opens to a linen lined interior with a few pockets for storage. Like many clutch bags today, there's a handy detachable chain link strap, but I like how this one is doubled to make it thicker and sturdier. The Brewster bag comes in the mustard yellow shown here as well as a light khaki color. You can also get the same leather strip and gold-studded style in a hobo or tote. The clutch retails for $395.

Payless ShoeSource has launched a new eco-friendly range of shoes, handbags, jewelry, and socks.

The green zoe&zac line is created using organic cotton and linen, recycled rubber, and water-soluble glues. In keeping with Payless’ reputation for bargain buys, all products in the collection are priced under $30.

I've fallen for this cute Lemongrass Clutch made from organic cotton. Its bold tribal design is printed with water-based ink and the handle is made from natural rattan wood.

Parent company Collective Brands Inc. plans to donate $1 for every Zac & Zoe item sold until May 4, and every reusable shopping bag sold this year, to The Nature Conservancy. The conservation group will use the funds to rebuild Brazil's Atlantic Forest. Payless hopes to raise at least $100, 000 for the cause.
