British design house Mulberry has teamed up with London’s FRED art gallery to create a beautiful limited edition range of tote bags.

The five handbags feature the contemporary artworks of Phillip Mulberry Fred ToteJones, Peter Jones, Kate Davis, Simon English, and Paul Hosking. These local artists were selected to reflect Mulberry’s individuality and unique identity. Mulberry worked closely with these artisans to ensure the bags maintained their creative vision.

Each tote is unique, ensuring there’s something to appeal to all tastes. Kate Davis’ red rose tote is dreamy and romantic, inspired by a special moment in Rome. Paul Hosking’s bag is a colorful retro take on the old psychiatrist’s inkblots. Simon English has brought together six beautiful line drawings to create a bag of amazing energy and beauty. Phillip Jones regular themes of fate and chance are played out in his handbag which was inspired by a deck of cards. Finally there is Peter Jones playful purse depicting the adorable hear no evil, speak no evil, see no evil monkeys.

These beautiful bags are available from the Mulberry Bond Street flagship store until October 22. For the duration of the promotion, each of the artists will also have a dedicated space in the Mulberry store to showcase their other works.

In a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory inspired twist, five lucky customers may find a golden ticket inside their bag. These tickets entitle the customer to win the original artwork inspired by their tote.

Mulberry art tote bags retail for £395.
