Eco-friendly handbag label GG2G has pledged a percentage of its profits to Farm Sanctuary, a charity which helps to rescue and protect animals from inhumane farming practices.

GG2G will give 3% of proceeds from its soon-to-be-released handbag line, Salvo, to Farm Sanctuary. These innovative handbags are made from vinyl discarded by the restaurant industry. In addition, GG2G will donate 15% of sales from its new organic cotton T-shirts to the charity.

Sustainable and animal-friendly labels are providing consumers with ways to both treat themselves and be kind to the Earth and its inhabitants,” explained Farm Sanctuary’s Development Director Samantha Ragsdale. “We are excited to watch the evolving market for animal and eco-friendly products and are grateful for the support of emerging companies like GG2G.

I’ve always admired GG2G’s eco-friendly approach to handbag production, and now that it’s supporting animal protection my respect has grown. It’s a shame the label is only donating 3% of the handbag sales, but it’s definitely better than nothing!
