Like many of the Hollywood elite, I am in love with Foley + Corinna’s quirky shapes and styles. I don’t review them that often, because, honestly, they all look pretty much alike, except for color. That is until this baby came around. It’s a whole new take on what has become a modern classic.
The classic F+C silhouette is still in effect, with its trademark rolled handle and oblong shape. This clutch version, which measures 15.5″ x 16″ x 3″ unfolded, is slightly larger than the average clutch if you hold it handles up. But if you fold it over, the height halves to only 8″, which makes it about on par with the oversized clutches of recent seasons.
The new addition is the tie-dyed leather bottom of the clutch. First of all, I love the colors. The rich grey melds perfectly with the violet and they both smear into a white middle. The colorway gives the bag a retro look that could be 60’s or 80’s, depending on how you rock it.
This is just another in a long line of great bags by Foley + Corinna, and I can’t wait to see more from this up and coming label.
