Dolce & Gabbana is embracing the digital age with the launch of its brand new online store.

The website sells the Italian fashion label's famous collections, including clothes, handbags and other accessories, beachwear, eyewear, and jewelry. Stylistas from 31 countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, and a range of smaller European markets, will be able to buy their favorite D & G goods from the comfort of their own home.

"The online boutique is like a game. It's a fun and immediate way to shop, without space or time limitations. We are confident it will get people even closer to D and G's dynamic universe," Stefano Gabanna said.

As the website doesn't have the overheads of regular retail outlets, Dolce & Gabbana is offering a 20% discount on all online sales.

"The idea is to peel off the superfluous because there are too many clothes, too many seasons, too much advertising, too much of everything that is tacked onto the final price. We want to go back to how things were 20 years ago. It's about drawing the line. This is the only way to save the market and our companies. It's time to turn the page," added Domenico Dolce explained.

I'll bet most of us don't care why we're saving money. It's just wonderful to enjoy the discounts. Now if only the site would expand the service to Australia so I could snap up some affordable Dolce & Gabbana goodies too!
