Handbags aren't the only things that can get incredibly expensive sometimes; now smart wallet/clutches are heading in the same direction. This Cartier purse will set you back $680; but is it worth it?

As someone who has very tight purse strings, my first instinct is to say that no bag, ever, is worth it. But because I know I am a cynic and a fool, I shall rebel against my instinct and look at the best bits. The first unique selling point is the highly unusual red/gold color, like burnt umber and a sunset rolled into one. The saturation is improved by the high quality glossy patent finish, whilst the smart and clearly quality Cartier embossing make it stand out from the crowd.

Prettiness aside, however, this purse is still very expensive. It may well fit inside another handbag if needed or exist as a clutch in its own right, but this unusual wallet isn't life changing. After all, it has a normal, if useful, amount of organization, and a predictable rectangular shape.
