It's possible to spend a fortune on glittering evening purses, but who has a social calendar crowded enough to justify it? Carlo Fellini offers us something more practical with its timeless and affordable Hailey clutch.

The adjectives "timeless" and "affordable" aren't very sexy, but they are smart. While the Hailey isn't very fashion forward, it has a beautiful understated elegance about it. Its navy satin body is gently pleated and adorned with two sophisticated clusters of rhinestones. Perhaps they would have been more sophisticated if they were Swarovski crystals or diamonds, but for a mere $48 I don't think we've got any right to complain!

The braided shoulder strap also doesn't look quite as chic as the silver chains typically used, but it will feel much more comfortable on your shoulder. It also makes the Hailey's generous size much easier to manage.

I really like this navy Hailey; it's neutral yet a bit unexpected. However we'll also find this timeless clutch purse in black, brown, and ivory bisque. Which one will you choose?
